Obituary for Danny Samples
1949 - 2010

Danny Ray Samples, 61, of White City, KS, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, July 22, 2010.
He was born April 30, 1949, in Erie, KS, the son of Harold and Lola (Hazen) Samples.
Danny retired from Case New Holland Manufacturing Plant after 32 years of service.
He married Vickie (Easter) West on August 31, 1985 in Wichita, KS. They lived in Wichita for several years before moving to White City, KS in 1998.
Danny was presently serving on the White City Council. He was also a past board member of the White City Senior Center, as well as the White City Housing Board.
Danny enjoyed woodworking and fixing things. He loved his wife, children and grandkids. They were all the love of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Patrick Samples in 2003.
Danny is survived by his wife, Vickie, of the home; daughter, Tina (West) Wilmore; son, Sean West & wife Katherine; all of White City; 8 grandchildren, Tim, Sarah, Mart, Kinsey, Lydia, Alyssa, Ezekiel, Elijah; cousins and a host of friends.
A memorial cremation service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Parkerville Baptist Church, with Pastor Bob Strom officiating. The family suggests casual attire. A private family inurnment will follow at a later date.
