Bonnie Jean McClintock, age 87, of Council Grove, KS, passed away on September 6, 2014 at Clare Bridge community in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born Oct. 29, 1926 in Council Grove, the daughter of David J. and Dr. W. May Jones. Bonnie and Wayne McClintock were married August 17, 1947 celebrating 61 years of marriage before his passing.

Bonnie was a teacher and homemaker raising five of her own children and sharing in the lives of many others. She was actively involved volunteering at her church, the library, Morris County Historical Society, Morris County Genealogy Society and the Bowers Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 half-sisters and a half-brother.

Bonnie is survived by all of her children: Lynda Ruth McClintock; David (Janice) McClintock; Margret Van Allen; Carol (Doug) Brehm; Nancy (Bill) Umholtz; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
