Donald C. Washburn Jr., 63, of Wilmington, California, passed away August 24, 2014, at Long Beach Veterans Hospital.
He was born on November 14, 1950 to Donald C. Washburn, Sr. and Mary G. Hall in Council Grove, KS.
Donnie attended school at Garfield Elementary and Council Grove High School until joining the Army in 1970. Donnie was a Vietnam Vet serving from 1970 to 1973. He traveled for many years ending, up in San Pedro, CA.
He is survived by his daughter, Yolande Fannon, of Pennington Gap, VA; four sons, Donald Alan Washburn, of California, Eric and Donald C. Washburn, of Marietta, OH and Tobie Pederson, of Marietta, OH; his parents, Mary and Ray Hall of Council Grove; six brothers, Kenneth Washburn & wife Jan, of Elgin IL, Jose Washburn & wife Linda, of Council Grove, Dulan Washburn of Council Grove, Richard Washburn & wife Cherol, of Rogers AR, Arnold Hall, Jr., of Manteo, NC and George Hall of Council Grove; three sisters, Mary Washburn, Tammy Muller & husband Richard and Debbie Hall, all of Council Grove; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews & friends.
Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Donald C. Washburn Sr. and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
