Walter O. Grigsby, 88, formerly of Council Grove, Kansas, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Cottonwood Falls.
He was born October 21, 1926 in Phoenix, Arizona to Walter Sidney and Ginny (Logston) Grigsby.
Walter was a truck driver most of his life, traveling most of the United States. He passion was horses and rodeos.
He married Winifred Kitts on May 15, 1999.
He is survived by his wife Winifred, of Cottonwood Falls; son Walter Grigsby, of Rimrock, AZ; step-son Delvin Pierson, of Chino Valley, AZ; and step-daughters Mary Devries, of Council Grove, Laura Rindall, of Corning, CA and Dixie Fett, of Globe, AZ; sister Velma of Phoenix, AZ.
At Walter’s request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
