Daniel Ray Barrett , 48, of White City, Kansas passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Morris County Hospital.
Danny was born on January 8, 1965, in Emporia, Kansas to Gene Williams and Carolyn (Hamilton) Barrett.
He married Bobbie Jo Carson on February 22, 2003 in Council Grove.
Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and all kinds of mechanical work. He was always there to help anyone in need. Danny was a devoted father and loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his parents; wife Bobbie Jo; children, Brandi Shultz (Ryan Trego), of Lyndon, Ethan Barrett, Lane Barrett and Elsa Barrett, all of the home; grandson, Rylan Trego; granddaughter, Nikki Trego; sisters, Carolyann Weatherford (Patrick), Edna Bloomquist (Mike) and Christina Streit (Timothy); brothers, Richard Williams (Gissele), Bobby Williams (Rena), Bobby Barrett , Dwayne Barrett; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bobbie Jo Barrett and may be sent in care of Central National Bank of White City, PO Box 158, White City, KS 66872. The memorials will be used to help benefit Danny's children, Ethan, Lane and Elsa.
