Cathy Lynn Hawthorne, 51, of Allen, Kansas, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Morris County Hospital.
She was born May 29, 1962 in Wellington, Kansas to Charles and Mary (Douglas) Bennett. Cathy married Jimmy Hawthorne on May 8, 1987 in Council Grove.
Cathy cherished her children……they were her life. She enjoyed attending all of their activities. Cathy was a devoted, loving wife and mother. She also loved her dogs, cats and the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Debbie Nye.
Cathy is survived by her husband Jimmy, and their three children, Ashley, Michael and Corrie Hawthorne, all of the home; mother Mary Orton, of Council Grove; sisters, Linda Bennett and Pam Emley; cousins; nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Cathy’s Life will be at held from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Wednesday, November 6th at North Lyon County Community Center in Allen.
