Carol Ann Brown, 59, of Salina, Kansas passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at her home.
She was born February 2, 1955 to Bob and Carolyn (White) Brown in Council Grove, KS. She lived on the family farm until she was five, when her father was killed. She, along with her mother and brother John, moved to town. Her mother later married Beaver Julian, Carol’s new father, whom she loved and adored.
Carol attended Council Grove Schools. After graduation, she enrolled in Brown Mackie College in Salina. She began her career and made Salina her hometown. Carol was an avid exerciser. She enjoyed helping and taking care of the elderly and will be greatly missed by all.
She worked for Lee Haworth Construction Company as a secretary/book keeper for 15 years. She had also worked at R.B Schmidt Insurance Company for several years.
Carol was preceded in death by both fathers, Bob Brown and Beaver Julian. She was also preceded by her sister Sara and brother John.
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Julian, of Council Grove; brother, Neil Julian and wife Debbie, of Council Grove; nieces and nephews: Sara and Kasey Engel, of White City; Thad Julian and fiance’ Amanda Kniebel, of Council Grove; Bobby and Cassie Brown, of Red Cloud, NE; 6 great nieces and nephews: Jason, Jerrel, Rilynn, Conner, Billy and Phoenix; and a host of friends.
